I don't want to divulge exactly how many words I've written in the immense space of time that I haven't been posting, but know that there is absolutely no way that I'm making it to 50,000 words. So instead I'm going to go for a smaller goal of 20,000 words, which is a lot more reachable at this point. Then I'll be back into the swing of my "normal" life. Hopefully.

I wasn't able to write as much as I thought I would, partially due to younger cousins coming over and being really rowdy while I was trying to write. Today I only wrote 55 words. I know I need to be more adaptable and write more, even in less than ideal situations, but that's hard for me to do. Hopefully I'll be able to write a lot tomorrow.
--Kyta I didn't write anything today. I'll be able to write a lot tomorrow though, so I'll make up a lot of days worth of writing.
--Kyta I didn't get to write much today, I had school and was trying to finish up the healing process so that I could get back to work tomorrow. I did write some though. In total, I wrote 221 words today.
I've gotta go to bed now. It's gonna be a long day tomorrow. --Kyta Today I didn't have classes, and I was still recovering from spraining my ankle, so I didn't go to work either. So what did I do with that time? I wrote, I wrote, and I wrote some more. Today I wrote a grand total of 2,208 words. I feel like I could write some more, but it is (at the time of this posting) 11:41 pm, and I have classes tomorrow. I'll be taking tomorrow off of work as well, for my ankle, but I will be going back to work on Friday, hopefully.
Today I wrote about my character recovering from his traumatic event, and further developed the relationship he has with his mom. I'm excited to write more tomorrow, and hopefully I'll be able to keep going until I hit 50,000 words. Maybe I'll even exceed that, who knows? Anyway, I should be heading to sleep now. I've gotta wake up early so I can get to school on time. --Kyta Before you say anything, yes, I know that I said I'd provide daily updates, but things came up. I was too engrossed in my writing to remember to post, and I lightly sprained my ankle on the 5th, but I've been writing pretty well, considering all of my other obligations. At the time of this posting I have written 12,684 out of the 50,000 words I am going to write this month. My main character has now experienced a traumatic event that will change the course of his life, and is recovering from said event. I'm not giving any details about the character and what the event was, so don't ask. I still have some of the writing inertia that I started with, and I know where I'm going, so hopefully I can keep going. If you decided to participate with NaNoWriMo with me, I hope you're doing well with your own writing. Anyway, I guess I'd better get back to work.
--Kyta Simply put, it is a competition against oneself to write a 50,000 word novel in the month of November. I already detailed a lot of information on my general blog here. I'm not going to reiterate any of the information I put on there, so just check it out, and if you want more information, check here. I invite any of you who want to join me, to join me.
